Our 7-Step
Design Process
Step 01
Consultation
Once you’ve contacted our team, we will set up an initial meeting to learn more about the land, project ideas, and goals for your new home.
Step 02
Schematic Design
We’ll then go away and move into the schematic design phase, where we produce early drawings and diagrams to communicate your ideals into a new home.
Step 03
Concept Design
The concept design phase is where the project starts to come to life with considerations to engineering, local regulations, and the land.
Step 04
Developed Design
We then need to finalise the full developed designs for DA, builders, contractors, and materials.
Step 05
DA Documentation
We’ll submit all architectural plans to Mosman Council (Municipality of Mosman) on your behalf. We’ve got extensive experience in managing the local regulations and ensure that each design submitted meet compliance.
Step 06
CC Documentation
Once we’ve got the green light, we will then move onto CC documentation and help you choose/tender a builder for the project.
Step 07
Construction Management
Studio HMD will then ensure that the project is managed and executed in line with the original designs – we can help prevent delays and ensure a smooth construction process..
