A new home in Brighton Le-Sands designed to capture the breathtaking water views afforded to a site sitting high, overlooking the Botany Bay. This new home has been composed with two story house, Basement and Roof Deck forms above which slip past one another to capture views, sunlight and ventilation

Design Outcome:
This project, with its challenges and constraints, has become our most featured project of 2019 and can’t wait for it to be constructed. This lovely house is a 4 bedroom with a 2 bedroom attached granny flat to the side which allows complete privacy while generating a good income.
We experimented materiality and form for the best outcome possible to allow for the facade to have a mixture of timber and brick and at the same time being playful.

By experimenting different forms and envelopes we presented this contemporary house flooded with natural light. Materiality played a key factor in our design outcome.
